Being a Union Roofer and Waterproofer is one of the very few careers you can earn money while attending classroom and on the job training that is paid for by the members of the organization. You will not have A BIG BILL for your education when you complete your apprenticeship. You will have the knowledge you will need to make a good living while looking out for your own future.

Apprenticeship consists of learning on the job from a journeyman and spending 144 hours a year in class for three years learning the Trade. You will need to work 5450 hours for signatory contractors to become a Journeyman. As an apprentices you will receive a raise every 720 hours if you complete all necessary paperwork and attend your classroom training.
